Tamblyn "Tammy" Joyce Mason Montgomery

Tamblyn “Tammy” Joyce Mason Montgomery, 63, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was a native of Hansome, VA, and daughter of the late Raymond Eugene Mason and Shirley Johnson Mason. Tammy is survived by her husband of 36 years, Gary Austin Montgomery; two sons, Austin Mason Montgomery (Taylor) of Powhatan, VA and Jacob Hunter Montgomery (London Bockman) of Amelia Courthouse, VA; granddaughter, Isla Noelle Montgomery; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Linda Montgomery of North Chesterfield; two brothers, Ronnie Mason (Pat), and Greg Mason (Belinda) of Hansome, VA; niece, Cheryl Drake (Eric) and nephew, Brent Mason (Stephanie), of Newsoms, VA. and her beloved dogs, Levi, Luna, Ralphy, Ruger and Raleigh. A special thank you to all of the nurses of VCU Hospital, CCU/Respiratory, and the Palliative Care Unit; especially, Ashleigh, Tori, Chaplain Jason and many others that cared for Tammy.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 P.M., Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024 at Christ Family Outreach, 12300 Five Forks Rd., Amelia Courthouse, VA, 23002 followed by funeral services beginning at 2:30 P.M., with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
